Augmentiary는 LLM을 활용한 해석 제안을 통해 사용자가 일기 속 경험을 더 깊이 해석하고 의미를 찾을 수 있도록 돕는 저널링 시스템입니다. 여러 해석 후보를 비교하고, 개인적인 맥락 및 과거 기록과 연결하며, AI가 생성한 문장을 시각적으로 구분하고, 점차 자신의 글로 흡수해 가는 인터랙션을 통해 해석의 주도권과 자기 목소리를 사용자에게 남겨 두도록 설계했습니다. 이를 위해 형성 연구를 바탕으로 시스템을 구현하고, 4주간의 탐색적 배포 연구를 통해 이러한 AI 해석 지원이 실제 저널링과 자기성찰에 어떻게 기여하는지 탐구했습니다.

Augmentiary is a journaling system that uses LLM-based interpretive suggestions to help users more deeply interpret their diary experiences and make meaning from them. It preserves users’ interpretive agency and authentic voice by supporting comparison of multiple context-linked interpretations, visual distinction of AI-generated text, and gradual incorporation into their writing. We developed the system through formative research and examined its contribution to journaling and self-reflection in a four-week exploratory deployment study.

20대의 정신 건강 문제를 수면과 저녁 시간 경험의 관점에서 접근한 학부 졸업 프로젝트입니다. 리서치와 문제 재정의 과정을 통해 핵심 문제를 저녁 시간대의 정서 및 자극 조절 어려움으로 재정의하였습니다. 최종적으로 자기 인식, 저녁 시간 계획, 환경 단서, 수면 준비를 지원하는 앱과 스마트 조명 기반의 제품-서비스 시스템 evniin을 설계하고 프로토타입을 구현하였습니다.

A graduation design project addressing mental health challenges among young adults through the lens of sleep and evening experience. Through research and iterative problem reframing, the core issue was redefined as difficulty regulating emotions and stimulation during evening hours. The outcome is evniin, a product-service system combining a mobile app and smart lighting that supports self-awareness, evening planning, environmental cueing, and sleep preparation.
